In view of the obvious and predictable difficulties of alternative routes for through traffic, the Parish Council asked for marshalled traffic (alternate one-way) on Liberty Lane (U75240) today and tomorrow (in addition to Wednesday and Thursday).
Balfour Beatty LP declined for today but agreed for tomorrow, saying: “Unfortunately we cannot do anything today due to resources being else where but it will be from tomorrow, if people could be reminded that access is still maintained and if there is machinery in way it may be just be that people do have to wait to be let through.”
We now understand Balfour Beatty LPs’ communications team are delivering letters this afternoon.
