Cusop Parish Council has welcomed two new members, bringing the full complement back up to six.
Julie Grigg, a former Hay GP who was active in the Timbuktu twinning, was co-opted last night. She has a strong interest in biodiversity issues.
Councillor Grigg joins George Gilbert, who was co-opted in May. He farms at Nantyglasdwr and his family has served on Cusop Parish Council for many generations.
Both bring important skills and experiences to the Council, helping to reflect Cusop’s unique mix.
Both serve until the full council election in May 2027, at which point a new council will be elected. All six members are eligible for re-election, if they are nominated.
